This page includes an index to a collection of short 10-minute art lessons called "Bell Ringers." They are great for students to do at the beginning of the period after they first enter the classroom or when the teacher is taking roll-call. They may also be used if the student completes their artwork early. As teachers know, a student with nothing to do is a student who may become a discipline problem.
Bell ringers can be handouts obtained by students as they enter the classroom or written on a white board. The familiarity of the placement of the handouts and the uniformity of each template will help students remember the routine if they are doing a bell ringer for class.
