The School Bell by Ken Rohrer

This cartoon is named after my former art teacher, Bob Bell. He was a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art teacher at Urey Middle School in Walkerton, Indiana in the late 1960's. These cartoons are dedicated to him. It was his influence that encouraged me to enter the art profession. Most of the cartoons shown below are from actual events. If you know where Bob is now, e-mail me.

The first six cartoons below actually happened to me while I was an art teacher my first year of teaching.

There are other cartoons found in the cartooning / cartoon lessons section. If you want your cartoons to see the "light of day," you can submit them to me for inclusion by clicking on the "Submit a Cartoon" link in the menu on the side. E-mail me at least four cartoons, a short biography and a photo of yourself (if you have one).
